I'm Loric — a design leader who believes the best products come from teams given room to think, and from leaders willing to stay curious about how the work itself is changing.

I lead design teams through ambiguity — translating fuzzy problems into clear systems, and clear systems into products people trust. My focus sits at the intersection of craft and strategy: building space for teams to do their best thinking, while keeping a steady hand on where the product needs to go next.
While the way work gets done is changing, the work itself has not. Designers are still problem solvers, we just have new tools to help us do it. I'm an enthusiastic, hands-on user of AI tools — not as a shortcut around craft, but as a way to move faster through exploration and spend more time on the decisions that actually matter. I've woven AI into how I ideate, prototype, research, and write, and I'm always looking for ways to bring that same fluency into how my teams work. Over the past year I've gotten my hands dirty shipping my first PR, vibe coding whole apps, and getting comfy in terminal & github.
Outside of work, I'm an avid reader and illustrator. I'm currently writing and illustrating a bilingual Armenian & English children's book — a project close to home.
